It's probably hard for some people to know yet because of the mandatory mobility rule. Clubs still haven't been notified yet.

Hi, we are currently looking at switching our daughter to Vaughan Gymnastics club and am wondering if anyone has any feedback on this club. Not looking for club bashing or anything, just some honest experience as we are relatively new to the gymnastics scene. Previously dd was with Woodbridge for 1 year.

We are changing to a new gym in the fall and she will be in level 3. She may also try a learn to dive program.

Thanks. Maybe Canada needs to consider a TOPS program like the US or something. Saying that, maybe we have it and I don't know about it.

No, some are privately owned.

2) Are there any clubs who have national level athletes that are new to the scene?

Yes, some new clubs & some new to the scene with coaches on staff who have produced at that level before. (New being within the last few years)

3) Do clubs that have never had a national athlete have chances at producing national athletes or do the same clubs generally seem to be producing them?

Sure - the chance is there - a motivated coach coming together with the right club, right environment, right support, right gymnasts has a chance. Having said that - many of the same clubs produce year after year.

I suspect the vault table was higher for this 1 athlete...to raise the start value??? Some one else could confirm this.

i finally checked back thanks for posting that they were up i gave up checking on th eogf site...
i have a question though... so i know that if you miss a skill or a requirment it lowers your start value....

I can point you to some videos of the routines if you would like, but the programme is very well protected, can't imagine why.
