extension for what deadline?? the fee deadline??

In an email GO said that event specialists will be communicated tomorrow and also an extension for the deadline. But didn't say how long. They also say,
"The schedules are being finalized and will be circulated/posted as soon as possible."

Ont Cup #1 Call to Meet says that schedules will be issued to clubs by March 18th - not much time for planning!

What i don't understand is why the list and sched. for ontario cup 1, was not out before this week...
There were no athletes competing in the Thunder Bay qualifier who were trying to qualify for Ontario Cup 1.
They could have had the list and sched. out last week.. giving everyone a good 3 weeks to make travel arrangements and such...

I completely agree. People need to know if their child has qualified and if they have, they need to make hotel reservations (if it's not too late!). I also need to take time off from work if my daughter competes on Friday....come on GO, let's get a move on here!

Where is the schedule?!?! Like you said they know the numbers!!!
And as for coaches getting the list, our coaches have not received them yet! Unless they received them this morning.

Not only the list - I wish they would also post the schedule - the first Ontario Cup is in just over 2 weeks and I assume there will be flights on Friday, so people need to know re time off work etc - given that OGF has known the numbers in each category for some time, I don't understand why this is all taking so long. (And I have heard that some clubs do have the list, so presumably coaches have seen it, even if it is not yet posted.)

Just wondering if anyone has seen this list yet!!
GO says they have to have registration and payment by Tuesday or its an additional $25 per athlete.
Way to go on giving us such advance notice!!!

The last scores have now been added in. Provided the original scores from qualifiers were correct this should be a good reflection of how the girls did. Hopefully OGF will release the list of qualified athletes shortly. GOOD LUCK to all those going to Ontario Cup.

Qualification Results
True comparison and ranking of all athletes is not possible until the end of the season after all athletes have participated in their assigned qualifiers. Official qualification results will be communicated directly to the clubs the week of March 8th. The official website of gymnastics Ontario is www.ogf.com and Gymnastics Ontario cannot guarantee the accuracy of results posted on other websites. Additional information on the Ontario Cups and Ontario Championships will be communicated closer to the events. ( http://www.ogf.com/documents/content_5628.pdf )

The top 24 or 32 athletes qualifying to Ontario Championships will be announced on-site. In addition, athletes qualifying to event finals will also be announced on-site.
