Canada’s Jason Burnett

SOFIA, Bulgaria — The Olympic silver medalist from Toronto broke the world record for the highest score on trampoline at the season-opening World Cup event.

Burnett, ranked No. 1 in the world, earned 31.6 points on his opening compulsory routine to eclipse the previous world mark of 31.4 set by Tu Xiao of China last year.
