Romania Team World Championships 2006:
This six-member team does not include a single athlete from the last Olympic Games in Athens, where Romania captured gold in the team event.
Sixteen-year-old Sandra Izbasa, European champion in the floor exercise, will lead a new Romania team at the gymnastics world championships in Denmark.
Dana Druncea, Elena Chiric, Loredana Sucar, all 16, and Floarea Leonida, 19, complete the Romania squad for the world championships.
